The rushing sound of the waves became diluted as the blue hedgehog began to mesh with the dark depths of the blue water. The strange echoing of underwater rushing filled his ears. As his breath was ebbing away, Sonic prayed that somehow he would survive... he had known it was a bad idea to check the aquatic zone alone...
As the blue faded to darkness as splash disturbed the surface of the water and red streaked swiftly below the surface. Knuckles dove in after his friend... he wasn't going to let Sonic drowned... No he couldn't let his friend die...
